The mountain apartment for a young family is part of a newly built apartment complex with a beautiful view of the Krkonoše mountains. We drew inspiration from the mountain environment and primarily used wood and stone, completely minimizing the use of white color.

The main feature of the living space is a dining island composed of two raw stone blocks with a stainless steel cube set into them. The clients love cooking, so their requirement was a fully functional and practical kitchen. Therefore, we chose stainless steel surfaces for the interior, which contrast beautifully with the raw stone. Specially treated sheets on the kitchen doors in a warm bronze shade nicely complement the wooden wall paneling.

Most of the furniture in this room is also made of wood but stained black. The bench was a client request, which we were happy to fulfill. We made it from gray leather and placed it next to a large solid table made from a single tree trunk, which we also stained dark and complemented with a massive steel base.

Another striking element in this room is the large sliding doors made of black-stained planks, complemented with a slab of raw steel serving as a handle. These separate the main living area from the rest of the apartment.

Throughout the apartment, except for the utility room with the washing machine, you will practically not find any white color, as all surfaces are covered with natural materials such as wood, stone, or plaster. The entrance area and the central corridor hide a lot of storage space, which is largely part of the wooden wall paneling. Only in some places, for clarity, are they in black lacquer, just like the ceiling. The client is a passionate hunter, so we chose a painting of a deer as the dominant feature of the entrance area. In the future, there are designated places for potential trophies. The forest can also be found in the detail of the handles shaped like small branches and hooks with a wood texture. The children's room in warm taupe shades combined with wood and old pink color reflects its little owners, horse lovers.

The wooden paneling is then interrupted, for example, by raw steel sheets on the wardrobe doors in the parents' bedroom or by stone cladding in the bathrooms.
