Reference projects
The 'House L' project fostered a collaborative design process. The client, familiar with the Graz designers' portfolio, envisioned a luxurious and open space with intimate nooks. Large windows frame picturesque views, while the ground floor living area opens to a central atrium through floor-to-ceiling glass. Natural elements are echoed inside with high-quality wood, textiles, and a calming color palette. To complement this, the kitchen incorporated BLANCO's CULINA™ semi-professional faucet collection, its design and functionality perfectly matching the project's blend of luxury and performance.
This renovation breathes new life into a house by Kaneji Domoto, a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright known for his architectural and landscape harmony. 4 Architecture's challenge was to respect Domoto's original design, particularly its connection to nature while modernizing it for a young family. New elements were carefully integrated. The heart of the renovation is the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors connect to the new pool deck, while white oak built-in cabinetry maximizes storage on the opposite wall. Skylights, both existing and strategically placed new ones, bathe the interior in natural light despite the lush surroundings. The kitchen exemplifies the project's philosophy. BLANCO Culina™ faucets seamlessly integrate, complementing the blend of modern functionality and classic design elements.
The Culina™ collection, known for its professional-grade performance and iconic design, echoes Domoto's emphasis on clean lines and enduring quality. At the rear, the original living room, now a lounge, and the master suite retain their connection to the stream and bamboo grove through expansive windows. Domoto's unique details, like the circular fireplace surround, were meticulously preserved. New built-ins echo the original cabinetry hardware, creating a subtle nod to the past. The homeowner's personal touch shines through with pops of color in unexpected locations throughout the house.
STUDIOSC designed a striking 4-story townhouse in Brooklyn that integrates with its surroundings. Clean interiors offer moments of drama, like the brick screen in the master bathroom that allows light and playful views of the park. The elegant kitchen, featuring BLANCO CULINA™ faucet, pot filler, and sink, exemplifies the seamless flow throughout the home.
Despite facing a park, privacy wasn't compromised. Deep recesses connect the lower floors to the environment, while the master bathroom's white stone-clad screen provides a peek at the park with privacy. The narrow kitchen utilizes space cleverly, creating a feeling of openness. Mirroring the facade's focus on continuity, the kitchen maximizes a narrow space. BLANCO CULINA™ faucet, pot filler, and sink seamlessly integrate, while clever programming, layout, and abundant natural light create an illusion of spaciousness.
