Ceadesign is relaunching a classic CUT faucet collection, first introduced in 1998 by designers Mario Tessarollo and Tiberio Cerato, and is back with a fresh look and improved functionality. This update focuses on user experience. A new mixing system allows easier water flow control with just one movement after setting the desired temperature. The collection also maintains its versatility, offering horizontal configurations with handles on either the right or left and a vertical installation option to fit various design needs.
Known for its sleek design and minimalist style, CUT has been a popular choice for two decades. It also earned recognition from prestigious design awards like the Compasso d'Oro and Red Dot.
The restyling focuses on the innovation of its operation in order to make its use more comfortable: once the temperature has been set, through a new mixing concept, a single movement is sufficient to regulate the flow of water.
CUT in its linearity adapts to the needs of each project: a horizontal configuration with a handle on the right, with a handle on the left, or a vertical installation.

High above Medellín, Casa JL stuns with its minimalist embrace of nature. Designed by 5 Sólidos, this sprawling residence neatly blends raw concrete with warm wood and expansive glass. The open-plan living areas flow effortlessly, while CEA CUT01 faucets in the bathrooms add a touch of sophisticated simplicity. Finished in sleek stainless steel, the CUT01 faucets echo the home's focus on clean lines and functionality. Their minimalist design complements the neutral color palette and the textural harmony created by the combination of steel, stone, and wood.
Large windows blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, inviting the lush Colombian landscape into the living space. The outdoor terrace, an extension of the dining area, boasts an infinity pool that reflects the sky. The bathroom areas feature CEA taps from the GIOTTO and OPUS collections in satin-finish stainless steel. Here too, the combination of steel, stone and wood, tactile materiality and warmth, dictates the style based on severe elegance and a palette of neutral colors.
