FONTANE BIANCHE Salvatori + Fantini's collection of bathroom fixtures was inspired by combining classic shapes with a modern twist. The interplay between circles and squares is a central theme throughout the collection. For example, the washbasin is a square block of marble with a hemisphere bowl, and the taps are designed to mirror the radii of a sphere.
Materials
The materials used, such as marble, stone, and a Matt Gun Metal PVD finish, enhance the clean and simple forms of the fixtures.
The collection is named after a place with white sands in Sicily, close to Syracuse, known for its natural freshwater fountains.
Manufacturing innovative products for over 7o years
For over seventy years, Fantini has been designing and manufacturing innovative products that have led the company to be the international point of reference for the evolution of design in its sector. Founded in 1947 by brothers Giovanni and Ersilio, it is still a family business today. Fantini is located in Pella, on the shores of Lake Orta, a small and romantic lake nestling in the mountains of Piedmont, in the north-west of Italy, where metalworking has a long tradition and where, over time, districts manufacturing taps and household goods have been established. Water is the common thread that permeates everything the company does, and the lake is a constant presence, so much so that it represents Fantini’s true ‘Genius Loci’.
